Art Therapy!

Art is a fierce outlet for mental health. The variety and the vibrance lend themselves to your full expression, and therefore, healing. I am so into a lot of different forms of art, but that makes sense, probably, following the eclectic nature of the blog anyway. I would love to hear about your experiences with art as a therapy exercise for mental health!

Diamond Dust
Latest painting. I wanted to do something that was close to my heart.
Social Distancing painting
I worked through the beginning of quarantine by trying to make it a little beautiful, turning the lungs into Wisteria flowers.
Geometric Home painting
I painted this early on in quarantine, just trying to look at things in a well-organized fashion at that moment.
Muses
I painted this of Calliope for one of my good friends who reminds me very much of that sweet muse.
Lipstick Collage
This is an awesome poem from the New Yorker that inspired me to collage
medusa painting
I have always been inspired by the inherent feminism of the story of Medusa. Painting this felt like a feminist power-move.
